Sylvia Scheffler Obituary (1912 - 2009)

Sylvia Scheffler, of Columbus, formerly of Florida, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2009. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry, and brothers, Harry, Milton, and Maurice Berger. She is survived by her daughter, Marsha (Ken) Miller; grandchildren, Jamie (Craig) Cherkas, and Jason Miller. Sylvia was born in Yonkers, NY and lived in Eastchester, NY until her retirement. She and Harry then moved to Tamarac, FL. Sylvia moved to Columbus in 2002 and was a resident at Sunrise of Gahanna and later resided at Wexner Heritage House. Burial will take place on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 in N. Lauderdale, FL. There will be a memorial service held in Columbus at a later date.
