Sanford Wm. Lipson, 95, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Preceded in death by his wife of nearly 56 years, Reva. A graduate of Cleveland East Tech and Ohio State, Sandy worked for 43 years at Capitol Mfg., retiring as Vice President of Engineering. He then volunteered instructing students at the OSU College of Engineering machine shop. Sandy is survived by his daughter, Marcia Meckler, of Columbus; son, Stephen (Nancy) Lipson, of Indianapolis; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Deepest gratitude to Lynnette Ebner, Florence Gantt, Dorothy Goehring, Patricia McKahan, Donna Meinhart and Michelle Ritchie for their devoted care. Graveside service 1PM on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at NEW TIFERETH ISRAEL CEMETERY, 2565 Performance Pkwy with Rabbi Harold Berman officiating. Contributions preferred to OSU College of Engineering.
