Muriel “Mickey” Goodman, age 84, passed away on April 7, 2015. Preceded in death by parents, Harry and Sylvia Kay; husband Mitchell Goodman, DDS; and brother, Marvin Kay. Survived by daughter Andrea (Greg Newberry) Kay of Ft. Thomas, KY; sons Mark (Cheryl) Goodman of Columbus and Lee (Shifra) Goodman of Brooklyn, NY; brother Jack (Diane) Kay, sister-in-laws Lois Kay and Eve Goodman and 8 nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of South High School. Mickey was a giving volunteer and supporter of a variety of organizations including B’nai Brith Women, Hadassah, Dolls for Democracy, March of Dimes and Boy Scouts of America. She was a tutor for reading programs at the public library and worked closely in her husband’s dental practice and for another dentist. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 PM at the Epstein Memorial Chapel, 3232 E. Main St., with Rabbi Avi Goldstein and Rabbi Sharon Mars officiating. Burial will be at New Beth Jacob Cemetery. Shiva will be at Mickey’s home Sunday from 1 - 5 PM and Monday and Tuesday from 3 – 7 PM.
