Milton J. Pinsky Obituary (2006)

Milton Pinsky, of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Betty, sons, Stephen (Lee) Pinsky, and David (Carrie) Pinsky, and grandchildren, Brandon, Jamie (Roanna), Josh, Nathan, and Mary. Milton was a graduate of Carnegie Institute of Technology and he served as an officer in the US Navy during World War II. He was affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America for many years, and was the Scout Master of Troop 126 of the Jewsih Center. Mr. Pinsky was the publisher of the Ohio Jewish Chronicle from 1958-1988. He was a member of the Jewish War Veterans, B’nai Brith, Society for the Advancment of Management, and a member of Tifereth Israel. Funeral service 12 PM, Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at THE EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main Street, with Rabbi Harold Berman officiating. Burial will take place at Beth Abraham Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio. Memorials preferred to Zusman Community Hospice.
