Special thank you to his caring aides – Josephine, Breonna, Jestina, - and to all the personnel and administrators at Creekside who took care of his every need. When Max and Margie returned to Columbus after 26 years in Florida, he always felt so welcomed and was immediately taken in by his large circle of friends and former patients who made each day a party. He was Captain in the Dental Corps in the European Theatre during WWII from 1942-1945 and received 5 stars for the battles he participated in. He was born in Cleveland, went to John Adams High School and attended the Ohio State University where he graduated from the College of Dentistry and practiced in Columbus for 40 years. He moved to Boynton Beach in 1989, where he lived his stress-free life playing golf and bridge and having multitudes of friends. His quiet demeanor masked a man with a keen mind and wit and his trim appearance belied his 100 years, thanks to his frequent trips to GNC.
