Mara Dashkovskaya Obituary (1929 - 2017)

Mara Dashkovsksya died October 20, 2017 at the age of 88. She was born in Vinnitza, Ukraine on May 29, 1929 to Esther and Moishe Shterberg. During WWII she was evacuated to Kazakhstan with her mother and sister escaping horrors of Nazi occupation. Maya immigrated to the USA in 1993 and volunteered at Columbus Public Schools for 20 years. She presided in her death by her husbands Meier Dashkovsky and Leib Kuperman. She survived by her two sons Edward (Dina) Dashkovsky and Michael (Natalia) Dashkovsky, grangcildren Miron(Ekaterina) Dashkovsky, Alexander(Ksenia) Dashkovsky and Sonia Dashkovsky and great-grandchildren Mark Dashkovsky and Emma Dashkovsky . Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, October 22nd at New Agudas Achim Cemetery, 2565 Performance Way.
