Preceding him in death were his three wives, Ina Garliner Lowy, Diane Handler Lowy, and Susan Covensky Lowy; his daughter, Denise Lowy; his brother, Marc Lowy; and his three dogs, Rex, Shayna, and Cassie. As Louis led a very full life, he is survived by numerous relatives and friends. Among Louis's survivors are his son, David Lowy (Marybeth DeFelice); his sister, Joyce Lowy Di Rienzi (Joseph); his son-in-law, Mark Haase; his stepdaughter, Rachel Botkin (Scott) and their children Ethan and Michael; his sister-in-law, Carol Lowy; his nieces, Lauren Lowy Miller (Brian) and Sara Di Rienzi (Jihwan Lee); his nephews, Steven Lowy (Jusilene Ferreira), David Di Rienzi (Rachel Ershler), and Jeff Lowy; his stepson, Samuel Levi (Shayna) and their children Noah and Zoe; and his stepdaughter, Lori (Salil) Dalvi and their son Lucas.
