Judith Tenenhaus

Judith Tenenhaus, age 87, passed away on March 1, 2016 in Deerfield Beach, FL. Former longtime resident of Columbus, OH. Born in Jerusalem, Israel, she served as an army nurse during Israel's War of Independence in 1948, then immigrated to the United States in 1956. A graduate of the Columbia University School of Nursing, she worked as a nurse for several years, then pursued a second career with The Ohio State University Libraries where she worked for 25 years. Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Solo Tenenhaus; parents, Noah and Dina Epstein; sisters, Leah Epstein, Pnina Vinitsky and Rachel Margulies. Survived by her daughter, Donna (Christopher) Riccio; son, Ron Tenenhaus; sisters, Ahuva Adler and Michaela Rosenbaum; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 3 at NEW TIFERETH ISRAEL CEMETERY, 2565 Performance Way.
