Jerry Kotlan Obituary (2007)

Jerry Kotlan of Gahanna passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2007 at Kobacker House Hospice. Jerry was born in Poland and lived throughout Europe before leaving Paris, France to move to the United States (where he became a citizen) and settled in New York City. His company, AEP, relocated their New York headquarters to Columbus where he continued to work as a design engineer until 1999, when he retired. Preceded in death by his first wife Rhiannon. He is survived by loving wife Lynn, his children Nicole, David and sister Miriam Mandel. Other family members include Matt (Diane) Parker, grandchild, Ryan, Erin (Tommy) Gerbic, grandchildren Cali and Roman. Service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2007, 10:00 AM at Epstein Memorial Chapel, 3232 East Main Street. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. A reception at the couple''s home will follow the interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kobacker House Capitol Campaign, OhioHealth Foundation, 3724 Olentangy River Road Suite G, Columbus, Ohio 43214-9988
