Jean S. Brief Obituary (1928 - 2010)

Jean S. Brief, of Columbus, Ohio. Preceded in death by husband of 49 years, Dr. B.J. Brief. She was a graduate of the Columbus Art School and the Columbus College of Art & Design, member of the National Council of Jewish Women, OSU Historic Costume and Textile Collection, Columbus Museum of Art, and the Columbus Jewish Historical Society. Jean is survived by her daughter, Toby Ellen Brief of Bexley; son, Samuel David Brief of Wrightsville Beach, NC; sister Edith Zahn of Glenville, IL; brother, Harry D. (Helen) Sutherland, of Worthington and her nieces and nephews. Graveside service 11 AM, Sunday, December 26, 2010 at the NEW AGUDAS ACHIM CEMETERY, with Rabbi Idit Jacques officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Columbus College of Art & Design or the Development Fund at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
