Jason Peter Bally passed away from complications related to Covid-19 at the age of 51 on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. Jason was born on November 13, 1969 in Columbus, Ohio and lived in Columbus his entire life where he attended Centennial High School. He had a passion for all sports and sports trivia, especially baseball and his beloved team, the Cincinnati Reds. His amazing recall of players and game statistics was his talent and joy. He also loved the OSU Buckeyes and enjoyed bowling and spending time with his friends and family in Columbus. Jason and his father were frequent patrons of Tommy’s Diner where they had many good friends. Jason is survived by his parents, Micki and Jim Bally, sister, Jennifer Bally Solodar, his nephew and niece, Jack and Jessica Solodar, aunt, Helen Bally and cousins, Sasha Waters Freyer, Nell Waters and Amy Gordon. He was preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, Betty and Samuel Gordon. Thanks to Lillian, Geraldine and others at Boundless who brightened Jason’s life. A private graveside service will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, February 8th at Forest Lawn - Temple Israel.
