Ilene Zeldin of Arlington, VA formerly of Columbus, born, February 28, 1957, passed away on June 10, 2022. Preceded in death by, parents, Solomon and Annette Zeldin and brother, Marvin Zeldin. Survived by her brother, Howard (Marcie) Zeldin; sister-in-law, Ivy Konel; nieces and nephews, Julie Zeldin (Michael Losure), Wendy Zeldin, Avram Polinsky (Stephanie Block), Breina (Scott) Rippy; great nieces and nephews, Solomon Hagedorn-Zeldin, Eleanor and Miriam Zeldin-Losure, Harrison Polinsky, Victoria and Zander Rippy; uncle, Murray (Judy) Zaroff and many cousins and friends. Ilene graduated from Eastmoor High School and The Ohio State University. She also graduated from the University of Dayton with a MBA. Ilene was a speech writer and wrote speeches for Lee Iacocca, Lloyd Bentsen, William Daley, Senator Fritz Hollings and Senator Joe Biden. She also wrote for many Generals at the Pentagon. She loved the Ohio State Buckeyes. She loved playing the clarinet for local community bands. She also loved playing the piano. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 16 at New Agudas Achim Cemetery, 2565 Performance Way.
