Gizal Saks Obituary (1920 - 2011)

Gizal Saks, of Columbus, formerly of Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael. Both he and Gizal were Holocaust survivors. She is survived by her loving daughters, Susan (Harvey) Wasserman, of Columbus, Marilyn (Elliot) Goldstein, of Boston, Mass., and Holly (Larry) Levine, of Columbus; adoring grandchildren, Rachel (Yaakov) Greenblatt, of Monsey, NY, Annie (David) Statman, of Los Angeles, CA, Abbie, Julianna and Shoshanna Wasserman, of Columbus, Hayley Goldstein, of Boston, Mass., Bobby and Jackie Levine of Columbus; and great-grandchildren, Yehuda, Avivia and Schmuel Greenblatt. Graveside service 4 pm, Thursday, April 21 at the New Beth Jacob Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations preferred to Zusman Community Hospice or the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
