Fannie K. Effron passed away on February 16, 2014. Preceded in death by her infant son; husband, Raymond Effron; parents, Israel and Bessie Kahn; sister, Mary Diamond; brothers, William, Benjamin, Simon, Raymond and Aaron Kahn. She is survived by her daughters, Sheryl (Robert) Rose of St. Louis, MO and Rosann Effron of Berea, KY; grandchildren, Tate (Irene) Blumberg, Life Blumberg, Allison Rose and Robert Rose; sisters-in-law, Ruth Kahn and Helen Elkins; nieces and nephews in Columbus and elsewhere. She volunteered at Grace Kindig Adult Day Center, Doctor's Hospital North, Shalom House and Wexner Heritage Village. Fannie was a member of Temple Israel, National Council of Jewish Women and Wexner Heritage Auxiliary. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, February 19th at NEW AGUDAS ACHIM CEMETERY, 2565 Performance Pkwy. with Rabbi Misha Zinkow officiating. Shiva will be observed immediately following the service at Wexner Heritage House. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of Shalom House or United Cerebral Palsy.
