Ethel Goldberg, age 94, passed away on October 18, 2013. Preceded in death by her husband, Hyman E. Goldberg; son, Gary Goldberg; brothers, Simon Levy, Lou Levy, Saul Levy and Mendel Levy; sister, Lena Friedman. Survived by her sons, Rabbi William (Judy) Goldberg and Jan Marc Goldberg; daughters, Joniann Goldberg and Cheri Greene; sister, Fannie Shkolnik; grandchildren, Dr. Joshua (Stephanie) Goldberg, Ben Goldberg, Lori (Shane) Stephens, Terry (Tina) Bernowski, Shawn Bernowski, Kim (Garry) Messenger and Missy (Mike) Ervin; 8 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Margie Goldberg; sister-in-law, Rosalie Levy. Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 20th at EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main St. with Rabbi Avi Goldstein and Cantor Jeffrey Siegel officiating. Burial will follow at New Agudas Achim Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at the home of Rabbi William and Judy Goldberg. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Congregation Beth Jacob or Wexner Heritage House in her memory.
