David Charles Levine, age 57, beloved father, friend, and son. Respected colleague. Nature lover. Cycling enthusiast. He lost his battle with cancer Thanksgiving morning. He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Levine. Survived by son, Nic (Amanda) Levine; mother, Beatrice Levine; brothers, Bob (Colleen) Levine, Dan (Barb) Levine and Ken (Karin) Levine. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 5419 E. Broad St., Columbus with Rabbi Cary Kozberg and Rabbi Misha Zinkow officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens – Temple Israel section. Shiva will be observed at the Levine residence. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to American Lung Association or donor’s favorite charity.
