Andrea "Andi" Beth Esterkin Obituary (1959 - 2008)

Andrea “Andi” Beth Esterkin, born, May 4, 1958, passed away August 28, 2008, from a brain aneurysm. She is survived by her mother, Stephanie; sister Tracy; aunt, Bertha Meyer; and uncles, Steven Swartz and Jerry Esterkin. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Esterkin; step-father, Herb Goldstein; and grandparents, Esther and Jack Swartz and Fan and Al Esterkin. Andi attended Columbus School for Girls and then transferred to Bexley High School, where she graduated with the class of 1978. While in Middle School she attended International Summer Camp in Montana, Switzerland. She was accepted at Columbus College of Art & Design for their Saturday Morning Art Program and graduated from Ohio Dominican College in 1990. Andi was nominated to the United States Achievement Academy for Outstanding Academic Achievement. After graduation, she worked in the health care field. Andi enriched everyone’s lives that she came in contact with. She is very sadly missed by her cats, Chloe, Chip, and Lady Bug, and her dogs, Zack, Buckeye, and Anabelle. Graveside service 11 AM Wednesday, Sept. 3 at The NEW AGUDAS ACHIM CEMETERY, with Rabbi Gerald Zelermyer officiating.
