Alvin L. Burack, age 85, passed away on June 23, 2015 in Sarasota, FL. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Bella Burack and sister, Miriam Berman. He is survived by his wife, Harriet Burack; daughters, Linelle (Francis) Lynch and Nancy (Bobby Kennedy) Kleppel; sons, Howard (Diane) Burack and David (Andrea) Kleppel; grandchildren, Ben, Elissa, Hilary, Jamie, Olivia and Nicholas; sister-in-law Myra (Paul) Sharfin; and special friends George (Rosemary) Lazaro and Steve (Armanda) Fromkes. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Sunday, June 28 at EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main St. with Rabbi Benjy Bar-Lev officiating. Burial will follow at New Temple Israel Cemetery. Shiva will be observed on Sunday following interment at the home of Howard and Diane Burack in New Albany and will continue Monday and Tuesday each evening from 7PM to 9PM at the home of David and Andrea Kleppel in Gahanna. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the American Heart Association in his memory.
